JSM College of Education B.Ed, Shivale, which started in 1990, is a pioneer in the teacher education in Maharashtra. This affiliated college is situated in the calm and peaceful town of Shivle, Tal-Murbad, Thane that trains future educators for more than thirty years. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, the institute is located on a 5 acres campus and provides an appropriate environment for nurturing talents. 

JSM College of Education B.Ed, Shivale, has developed numerous facilities to complement the learning process of the students. A good library as the knowledge resource centre and sports centre as the health resources and team cooperation resources. It has various events and seminars hence, improving the life of academics in the building. In the event of a health scandal, there is a medical centre equipped with a first aid department in the compound. The college also has a gym, a cafeteria, and a satisfactory IT infrastructure which also forms part of the developmental facilities offered to the students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls where many students can stay, regardless of the region they come from. 

JSM College of Education have a full time two years B.Ed programme which prepares candidates for teaching. This programme serves as foundation of the institute’s academic portfolio and has an approved capacity of one hundred seats. This course allows the students to be armed with knowledge and skills in the area of specialisation in education practice. 

The admission to JSM College of Education is done on merit as defined by the rule and regulations of the state government, and UT administration apart from the rules and regulations of the affiliated university. Prospective students are assessed on their performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
