JSR College of Education, Tirupur and has now grown to become one of the eminent teacher education institutions in Tamil Nadu. Application Process

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): At the moment, JSR College of Education is offering a full-time Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program. This is a two-year course that imparts to the student knowledge and skills besides preparing him/her for a vocation in teaching. The approved intake for the B.Ed. program is 100 students.

Admission to the B.Ed programme is on merit. Merit would be determined on the basis of:

1. Marks obtained in qualifying examination
2. Score of entrance test (if any)
3. Other criteria as may be specified by state government/U.T. Administration and university policy.

Other eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Ed. program would be:

1. A bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university
2. Minimum percentage as prescribed by either the college or affiliating university
3. Relevant entrance exam, where applicable.
