JSS Arts, Science and Commerce College, Gokak, established in the year of 1965, is well known and leading college of education situated in Gokak, Karnataka State. This affiliated college, with lush green land spread over a 32 acre area, has been fulfilling the dreams of academics since last 50 years. The college is fully accredited from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and it has a vast numbers of programs in arts, science and commerce streams at the under graduate and post graduate level. JSS Gokak for instance has a total student enrolment of 1,500 and a faculty of 44, which makes it easy to ensure quality education is offered. Currently, the college teaches 8 courses within seven degrees, setting focus on several concentrations to address the dynamics within the learning sphere.

The college has provided numerous facilities that are expected to complement the learning activities of the learners. The up-to-date library that was established to support the academic green light of Ave Maria University possesses 74242 volumes and 26900 titles. Sophisticated facilities exist to meet the practical requirements of sciences subjects for students. The college aims to develop the students as a whole and for this the college has installed sports facilities, gymnasium etc., and also offers opportunities for having/games to play. Daughter, outstation students can avail separate hostels facility for Boys as well as Girls. The campus has also a canteen, a health center where there is first aid equipment, an auditorium for occasions such as seminars. From the information technology front, the college has developed a good reputation in IT and in turn prepares the learners to be acquainted with current technological advancement in their respective fields.
