Naturopathy and Yoga is recognised as an Indian system of medicine under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. The Institution is governed by the Medical Division of the world-renowned JSS Mahavidyapeetha. It offers a 5 1/2 years of Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS). Plans are on the anvil to start MD – Naturopathy, MD- Yoga and MD – Acupuncture and Energy Medicine. The branch in which the UG course is offered is Naturopathy.
JSS Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Coimbatore also called JSSINYS Coimbatore course is BNYS at the undergraduate level. Admission into this course is given based on merit acquired in the qualifying examination followed by the counselling process. JSSINYS Coimbatore also facilitates separate hostels for boys and girls, the library, sports, auditorium, guest room and waiting room can be accessed by merit students.
