This affiliated college is settled in Gurukul Campus, Terdal and has been honing the young engineers for over one decade. Situated in a sprawling 30 acre campus, this institute is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and hence trains Students and provides quality education as per the need of the Indian Industries. Current enrolment for students stands at 225 while the number of faculty members at the college is 24, as such, JV Mandal’s Polytechnic College provides the feel of a small college where the faculty members are familiar with their students by name.
The college is proud of the best facilities that it has put in place to meet the physical as well as psychosocial needs of the students. Apart from the library which is a 1000 sq. ft of information center, science and engineering has over 4000 volumes and 1200 titles. It also subscribes of many magazines and newspapers making information readily available to the students. We have over one hundred computers in our IT facilities, and students equip themselves with all the digital competencies needed in the modern world. For those who live in the college as they study the college provides different hostels for boys and girls separately. The rental premises of these hostels are comfortable and equipped with necessary amenities like hot water, TV room and indoor sports as well as encourages fellow feeling among the tenants.
Of the programmes offered at JV Mandal’s Polytechnic College, there are four full-time diplomas programmes each of which takes three years. These courses include Diploma in civil engineering, Diploma in Electronics and communication engineering, Diploma in Electrical and Electronics engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The Civil Engineering programme and Electrical and Electronics Engineering programme is offered with three intakes of twenty students each in addition to a larger intake of forty students in the Mechanical Engineering programme Electronics and Communication Engineering programme has an intakes of fifteen students per year.
