Kalahandi School of Engineering and Technology (KSET), was founded in the year 2008, is one of the leading institution situated at Uditnarayanpur, Bhawanipatna, Odisha. With AICTE affiliation to this affiliated college, multiple diploma programmes are offered in the field of engineering. Located on a colossal plot of land of 6.37 acre, KSET altogether enrolls 849 students and count 45 teachers. Of course, the goal to advance technical education in the institute is supported by the offered courses and infrastructural resources.

In order to improve students’ learning process KSET has acquired huge number of relevant facilities, which are listed below. By this facility, sports enthusiasts would be able to practice their invented games either in structured hall or open fields thus balancing the physical features between games and academics. As facilities, the campus has installed operating IT facilities, practical laboratories and an event and seminar hall. In the same regard, the university has amenities such as a canteen, health centre with first aid amenities, and guest house for the faculty and/or family, to cater for the social enrichment of students.

KSET provide five full time diploma courses in engineering to meet the students requirement in different fields ease of employment opportunities. The institute offers its diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. The KSET in all its programmes offers an annual intake of 849 students to build a career in engineering. In order to maintain the proportionate distribution of the students CNSG has higher intake of 90 students in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering courses while 30 students only for Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering branch.

The process of admission in Kalahandi School of Engineering and Technology is quite easy and competitive. The admission process of IGNOU consists of the following where the prospective students are called for the Diploma entrance test ( DET) of the Director of Technical Education and Training ( DTET) Osisha. After the entrance test another round of admission is conducted through counseling done by DTET. This standardized procedure makes sure that deserving candidates from different parts get a chance to follow up on their engineering dreams to KSET.
