Kalka College of Education was established in 2004, Meerut. The institution strives for the grooming of education future. This co-educational college provides collegiate education and is an affiliated institute approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE. Total strength of enrolment is 281, and the faculty strength is 11 members, aiding to provide a learning environment that is focused.

The college has many modern facilities to make learning easier for students. The library is a powerhouse of academic tools: spacious, well-equipped, and replete with an extensive collection of books, encyclopedias, and the latest reference materials in almost all subjects. The library has an open shelf system where students can access books directly to encourage them to read often. Moreover, the recent digitisation of the library that includes the internet also further enabled the broadening of knowledge for both students and faculty. 

Kalka College of Education has two full-time course, the two-year B.Ed programme and the three-year B.P.Ed programme. These courses are built to equip students in teaching and physical education, respectively. 

Admission to Kalka College of Education strictly follows a merit-based policy and is as per the directives of the state government and the affiliating university. The admissions are primarily done through a Combined Entrance Examination conducted by the relevant university. Counselling is done later after the examination, by the concerned university.
