Kamal Institute of Technology, Kanpur is one of the most advanced educational institutions established in the year 2014. Spread over a sprawling campus of 5.282 acres in Sikandra, Ramabai Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh, this institute is an affiliated college approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, and National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi. KIT offers a wide range of courses, but mainly focuses on the area of engineering. There are ten full-time courses the institute offers in the form of diplomas and bachelor's degree courses. The diploma courses are spread over quite a few different fields of engineering, including Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Maintenance, and Production Engineering, with 60 students for each course. KIT also offers B.Tech programmes in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics Engineering. The institute is also running a D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) programme with an intake of 50 students.

The admission procedure at Kamal Institute of Technology is hassle-free and purely on merit basis. The institute accepts the UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test) test score for B.Tech programmes. This is a controlled test that evaluates the candidature based on subjects relevant to the stream of engineering.
