Kasthurba College for Women, Villianur affilited college located in the Pondicherry was started in the year of 2005. This women-only institution is approved by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is campus based offering three undergraduate programmes. Located on a 15.6 acre of land the college currently has a total of 223 students, all the students are females. The college has a humble strength of 15 faculties, while the student faculty ratio is greatly in favour of the college. The social work, history, and psychology courses are offered for students at Kasthurba College for Women making it offer a niche education.

Kasthurba College for Women has a variety of amenities, which have focus on improving learning environment as well as personal growth of the learners. She has been collecting books in the library which must be containing nearly about 2450 books which is very helpful to learn from anywhere.
