About Kazi and Zaman College, Meghalaya
Kazi and Zaman College of New Bhaitbari, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya, was established in 1990 and is affiliated to the University of B.T. & Poornima College of Engineering, Rajq, New Bhaitbari, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. It has been more than three decades the institution has been imparting education in this region. Currently, the college has 995 students and a faculty of 27; this makes the learning atmosphere a more intimate one. At the moment the college only provides one program of study for degree, that includes offering of BA Education (Hons) to those students who wish to pursue their career in the area of education.
This college has established various facilities aimed at improving the student experiences. For those with an inclination toward IT, the institution has made great provisions for IT facilities so that students remain abreast with ICT. The college owns an auditorium that is used to host event and seminaries in order to enhance the social life of the college. The shelves that lie packed full with books open generously forth as a treasure chest of learning that sustains study. Student service is also a focus at Kazi and Zaman College with the provision of hostels for the male and female students across the different years for those students coming from distant areas.
