The KC Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Una was started in the year 2010 which is an affiliated college in Pandoga, Una district of Himachal Pradesh. This institution which is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) is specialized on pharmaceutical education and allied health sciences. It currently occupies a total of 2 acres and currently has a total of 189 students, of which male and female students sit respectively at 108 and 100. There are 4 courses in 3 degree programs offered at the institute; pharmacy and medical laboratory sciences and faculty has a staff of 13 committed members.

The following is a list of facilities found in the institute they are used to improve on learning and development of students. The campus has its separate hostel facilities for boys and girls for accommodating out- station students. An internet & computer lab is available equipped with more than 120 systems, while a rich library has resources exceeding 25000 books and number of national as well as international journals for the students interested in academics. The institute also has well-equipped laboratories with most of the current equipment used in teaching and learning of the pharmaceutical sciences. For physical fitness and recreation, our students use gym and sports related amenities. The campus is wireless enabled that enable students to use most of the digital resources. Others are canteen, a hall for celebrations, seminars among others, and transport means by which the institute accesses neighboring regions. First aid facilities in a health center cater for the health of students and banking services via an ATM on campus.

The course offered at KC Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a total of four fulltime courses to cover all different aspects of pharmaceutical and allied health sciences. The institute is overall has an approved intake capacity of 160 students, out of which 100 student are admitted into B.Pharma and 60 are admitted into D.Pharma. In the most recent academic year, the institute said that it admitted 189 students, clearly pointing to a good enrolment.

KC Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences admits students in an easy and clear-cut process so as to help as many students as possible in their chosen fields. Though, details about these examinations are not given, the institute possibly takes into account, relevant examination of pharmacy and allied health science courses. The institute cultivates a diverse environment as only 4% of the institute’s undergraduate students are from out-of-state.
