Khalsa College of Physical Education, Heir was established in 2009 affiliated college which is situated in Amritsar Punjab. This institution is located on a large piece of land of 9.493 acres and seeks to produce future professionals in the field of physical education. The college is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which makes them to deliver quality education related to physical education. Currently the faculty members are 12 strong and the college offers 5 courses in 2 degree programmes being devoted to physical education and sports management.

Khalsa College of Physical Education has a number of amenities that are in place to complement learning activities for the learners. A gym and dance hall caters for the students’ body fitness workouts whilst the various sports fields meet the requirement of the different code of sports. In all the facilities at Khalsa College of Physical Education ; Heir provide Five full time courses inclusive of specialisations in physical education. These are; Undergraduate programmes: B.P.E.S (Bachelor of Physical Education & Sports), B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education), and B.P.Ed Integrated. Diploma programmes: D.P.Ed (Diploma in Physical Education) and Diploma in Sports Management. The college was granted permission to admit a total number of 150 students in its B.P.Ed, B.P.Ed Integrated and D.P.Ed course each for 50 students.
