Khandoli Institute of Technology, Giridih (KIT Giridih) was established in 2014 and is run by Vivekanand Educational and Charitable Trust. The college is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi. The college functions under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Jharkhand. KIT Giridih courses include diploma in engineering courses in mining engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and electrical engineering. KIT Giridih admissions are done on the basis of Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE) conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB).
