KK College of Engineering and Management, Dhanbad, was set up in the year 2010 and is located in the state of Jharkhand, India, as an affiliated college. Located across an area of 25.82 acre, this institution is committed towards offering quality engineering education. The college is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICT.E) which means it follows the standards set across the country. At present, KKCEM has a total student intake of 502 students and has a faculty strength of 95 presenting a wider course offering in engineering. The college offers 7 courses in 2 major fields of study with concentrates on engineering science like computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronic and communication, civil engineering and mining engineering.

KKCEM equipped with several facility structures that can improve the student’s academic and personal developments. The campus has equipped itself with functional laboratories that support practical learning and creativity. There is also a provision of hostels for those people who want to stay with us, and these are boys hostels and girls hostels respectively. The college library acts as an information centre where different information resources that could help the students are provided. For physical fitness overall and team work, the institution offers sports facilities for games such as football, cricket and hockey. The college also provides medical care to the students through facilities that are situated in the college compound. As for tech-wise learners, the institution provides over 300 computer facilities Internet connection available. Other services include cafeteria and auditorium, and transportation facilities to support comfortable campus life.

The college teaches 7 courses in all: the full-time B.Tech programmes and a diploma course. In the B.Tech programmes the duration of study is 4 years while the Diploma programme is for 3 years. All courses are available in full-time and in regular mode only. The college has an approved intakes for all those courses and the total number of seats offered by all courses is 540 thus, this means that engineers are likely to have many opportunities.
