KLE Society’s College of Education was set up in 2004 and is one of the reputed teacher training college situated in Belagavi, Karnataka. This affiliated college bears the accreditation of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and it is located my a spacious campus of 16 acres. It enrolment the total of 164 students and employs the faculty of 15 members, so the college has the appropriate student faculty ratio.

KLE Society's College of Education, Belagavi  prides in having the following modern facilities that facilitate learning to the students. They have a record centre, which is a well stocked library with books, periodicals, journals, computer and internet services. The Educational Psychology Lab, Science lab and the Educational Technology Lab offer practical experiences that is important for any teacher trainees. The college is well endowed with modern education facilities like the ‘Digital Vision’ computer laboratory with more than twenty computers connected to the internet to enable student mastery of modern education technologies. Concerning physical fitness, facilities for games and sports are available and a health center for first aid services. The college also provides different hostels for males and females to lessen distractions and enhance study.

The College of Education of KLE Society, an affiliated Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, at present provides only one fulltime course that is the Bachelor of Education better known as the B.Ed. It is a two-year programme with an approved intake of 100 students this is in agreement with the institutions policy of restricting the number of students to ease quality delivery. The B.Ed programme entails preparation and training of student to enable them to fit appropriately into the teaching profession.

Considering the admission procedure at KLE Society’s College of Education, it has adopted merit based system for all programmes following the policies of state government/U.T. Administration as well as university. Qualifying examination and entrance examination serve as basis for the assessment of the performance of students who intend to take up a course in the University.
