KLE Society’s Polytechnic, Bailhongal which was set up in the year 2008 is one of the best technical colleges situated at Bailhongal, Karnataka. This affiliated college approved by AICTE New Delhi also provide several diploma courses in engineering disciplines. The institute is spread over 6.29 acres of land and has a total enrolment of 171 students, and has its own team of 24 full-time faculty members.

It is proud of having provided a great number of facilities that all aim at making the learning process more effective in student achievement. The campus has well furnished hostels for boys and girls with mini libraries and even planned internet facilities. There is a well stocked library with over 5000 books and journals for students of all the branches of the university. KLE Society’s Polytechnic conducts five full time Diploma courses in Engineering, each of the total duration of three years. Graduation program of the institute are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

The admission of the First Year Diploma Course in Engineering is made purely on the merit of the S.S.L.C./S.S.C or any other equivalent examination in the Karnataka Secondary Board, Bangalore.
