36 MonthsThe Diploma in Civil Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility conditions governed by the Director of Technical Education, Bangalore, are as follows;
- The Candidate He / She must have passed the S.S.L.C / S.S.C. examination and studied Mathematics and Science subjects compulsorily with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
- Non-Karnataka students should obtain an eligibility certificate from the Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore.
- In case the candidate wants to be admitted to any branch, students must be at least 16 years of age as of 1st July of the academic year.
- However, the eligibility rules framed by DTE, from time to time, are applicable.
Admission Details
The selection of the students for admission to the First Year Diploma Course in Engineering is based on the results of S.S.L.C./S.S.C. or any other examination equivalent to it, as recognized by the Karnataka Secondary Board, Bangalore. The admission is subject to the final approval of D. T. E., Bangalore.
