72 MonthsPh.D. program in Chemistry shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
The student having 55% marks in M.Sc. for general candidates or 50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates from a recognized university/institution Is eligible to apply for the Ph.D. program.

The admission process is based on the candidate's performance in the entrance test/interview conducted by the concerned department and his/her marks in the concerned subject at the postgraduate level. The weTghtage for these Iwo critena Is 50% each.
