Kohima Science College, Jotsoma: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

KSC, Jotsoma was established in 1961. The institution is a Government university affiliated to Nagaland University, Kohima. It was established in view of the growing aspirations of the Naga people for science education in the state through the initiative of some prominent citizens of Nagaland. The college offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and Doctoral level. 

The KSC, Jotsoma UG courses include BA (Hons) and Bachelor of Science(Hons) in various different disciplines. Admissions are offered to candidates who must have passed class 12th from a recognized board with 45% in the subject in which one desires to take up. All the courses are offered in full time mode only. 

The institution also provides postgraduate courses to the students. KSC, Jotsoma PG courses include Master’s in Science in different subjects. Students who are aspiring PG admissions need to have 45% marks in B.Sc. honours or 60% aggregate in B.Sc. general from a recognized university/institution. 

The college offers various Doctoral courses which include Ph.D in subjects like Chemistry, physics,mathematics and many more. The college also offers various facilities to the students. KSC, Jotsoma facilities include well-stocked libraries, modern classrooms, sports facilities, medical facilities and many more.
