At Kendriya Mahavidyalaya Pratapgarh, for 4 years, the candidates undergo training to be conferred with a degree B.Pharma on successful completion. There are two criteria for selection to the B.Pharma course: one, the candidate's academic performance in the qualifying examination (10+2), and second, scores of relevant pharmacy entrance examinations. To be eligible, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics in their higher secondary education.
For 2 years, offered Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) admission, for which KP College of Pharmacy takes performance in 10+2 examination into consideration, with scoring on the two science subjects as the focal point. The programme is meant for those wishing to enter pharmacy-type jobs through a shorter duration course.
