Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule College of Education for Women was founded in 1970 in Mumbai to prepare professional teachers for schools across the nation. This co-educational college is located in Vikhroli (E), Mumbai, and offers the facility of affiliation and is approved by the NCTE for Teacher Education. The college offers two full-time courses, Bachelor's in Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Teacher Education (D.T.Ed), with a student capacity of a total of one hundred and fifty. The college has a faculty of 8 members, and at present, it has 41 students, which indicates that it offers a concentrated atmosphere for education calibration.

At present, K.S.P.C.E admission policy involves merit by obtaining marks of the entrance examination as well as marks of the qualifying examination. Regarding admission for the B.Ed programme, it is done according to the rules and regulations of the government of the state, UT administration and the university to which the college is affiliated. The D.T.Ed programme also explains the similar process which is set up in accordance with the state government or UT administration.
