Krishna Murthy Institute of Technology and Engineering (KITE) is a well-known Engineering college situated at Ghatkesar, Telangana, started in the year 2007. This affiliated college is located on a vast piece of land of 12 acres and has prospects in engineering to talented technologists. More known as KITE Hyderabad, it has carved a niche for itself that offers five different B.Tech courses in technical education. In line with the above, the institute boasts of a modern facility and strives to develop all facets of the student.

In the Larmer and KITE learning environment, students have access to a variety of facility to support learning. college has a well-stocked library containing books of more than 27000 volumes and number of journals, including national and international journals of engineering discipline. With SONET technology, the digital library provides students and faculty with a wealth of online academic information. The athletic inclined are also well favoured with volleyball, basketball, cricket, football fields, and NH indoor games like Table Tennis, chess, etc. The campus includes classy computer laboratories with internet connection so that students can be up-to-date with modern technologies.

As it stands, the institute is accredited to offer five B.Tech programmes, and all of these are four-year programmes. These are Civil engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical engineering, and Electronics and communication engineering. 

Earlier KITE Hyderabad accepted admissions based on common entrance tests; however, the entrance examination primarily used to admit students is TS EAMCET. This university-based written exam is the first step towards getting admission to the institute for any of its B.Tech courses in engineering.
