KRP College of Arts and Science, Kakkivadanpatti, is one of the youngest institutions, which was established in the year 2019, but plays a good role in moulding the youth's lives. Established in the colourful town of Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, this college houses a plethora of undergrad courses in arts, science, and commerce streams. The college is also relatively small in size; it occupies only 5 acres of area and has 77 students registered on the campus. The college has a robust staff complement with an anticipated 22 members in its faculty, making student treatment more personal. Despite being relatively young, KRP College is gradually establishing a position as a higher education institution that currently teaches 8 courses within 4 programmes.

K.R.P. College of Arts and Science is a co-educational institution affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University. The college boasts of its well-equipped infrastructure, along with fourteen modern learning facilities for the students. Located in the centre of its technological system, the school has a computer laboratory with essential facilities. All students are using modern software and fast internet to practice ideas discussed in class in an actual working environment. The LAN connectivity in the lab allows students to be abreast of knowledge in their groups and encourages teamwork on projects among them. Apart from their use in the facilitation of the academic needs of the institutions, these computing facilities are instrumental in the effective administration of the college and the communication between the college and its community.

The KRP College of Arts and Science currently has a total of 8 programmes for the undergraduate degree, and all of these programmes have full-time study. The course sections are classified according to the faculties of arts, science, and commerce to meet the different specialisation areas. Among these, existing general programmes include BA, B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, BBA, and B.Com. with Computer Applications.
