Lakecity College of Education Srinagar, recognised in 2007 at Bemina on the outskirts of the beautiful city Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. This school for boys and girls has been continuously providing its services to the education field more than a decade now. The college takes 62 students in a year and has a faculty of 11teachers, which means the college follows a very stringent student teacher ratio of 2:01, which in turn helps the teachers pay individual attention and provide good quality education. The college has a B.Ed programme, in which emphasis is made on producing qualified professional teachers for the future.

The Lakecity College of Education has a number of amenities that are ; aimed to improve learning environment for students. The college offers a full time B.Ed programme with a period of two years only. The criteria for admission at Lakecity College of Education includes mark obtained in a qualifying examination and/or examination conducted by the college. The college also follows any selection process in accordance with policy on the state government/U.T. Administration and university policy.
