Lakhimpur Polytechnic, Bihpuria: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Lakhimpur Polytechnic, Bihpuria was established in 2017 by the Government of Assam to provide diploma-level engineering education to the students. Lakhimpur Polytechnic College is affiliated with the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam, and is All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) approved. Candidates must meet the required Lakhimpur Polytechnic eligibility criteria before applying for any course the college provides. To gain admission, candidates must appear and pass the Lakhimpur Polytechnic entrance examination which is Assam PAT. Every year this examination is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam to select candidates for various branches of the polytechnic course. 

Lakhimpur Polytechnic admission procedure includes selecting candidates on the basis of their marks in the respective entrance examination followed by some rounds of online counselling. There is a provision for reservations in Lakhimpur Polytechnic seats on a category basis. In addition to this, sports and an NCC quota are also applicable for admission. The Lakhimpur Polytechnic placement cell aims to provide the best career opportunities for students after pursuing a diploma from this college. The Institute is situated about 9 km from Narayanpur Town and about 47 km from North Lakhimpur Town. Candidates can easily reach college by boarding a bus. Tatibahar is the nearest railway station to the Lakhimpur Polytechnic campus at a distance of 5 km. The nearest domestic airport to the college is Lilabari Airport which is 60 km away.
