Lakshmi Narain Academy of Pharmacy, Gwalior, was established in the year 2009. This is a co-educational institution for learning in pharmacy approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Situated near Morar Cantt, the academy has an annual capacity of sixty students and it thinks over the B.Pharma programme only. The institute wants to maintain a small batch size of 60 students and currently has 17 faculty members to offer a competitive environment to the students and create an environment suitable for expected pharmacists.

The Lakshmi Narain Academy of Pharmacy has acquired various infrastructures that would improve the learning processes of all students learning at the academy. The library is provisioned with e-books facilities and has a stock of national and international magazine and journals; the library has book bank facility for students. Modernised laboratory as a part of the institute, with latest equipment and machinery required for manufacturing of pharmaceutical products such as Tablets, Capsules, Ointments, etc and advanced Drug Delivery Systems. The IT structure helps a learner to be acquainted with the modern advancements in the computerised field. To allow the academy to ensure holistic development, they offer sporting and recreational amenities such as play area that features a green grass that will enable children to have plants to learn while exercising on. An auditorium is intended for hosting events, seminars, etc, which enhance students’ extra-curriculum activities.

Lakshmi Narain Academy of Pharmacy, Gwalior, currently offers one full-time course: It is the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) course. It is a four year undergraduate degree programme aimed at giving the students a good grounding on pharmaceutical sciences. The capacity of the programme at the national level is approved at 60 – and with a host of potential students vying for a placement at this establishment, students interested in the science of pharmacology have more than a fair shot at gaining enrolment in this institute.
