Lakshmi Narayana Arts and Science College, Thrissur came into existence in 2017 and has quickly find its place in the educational institutions in Kerala. This affiliated college is a small one built on a 5 acres of land located near Jawahar Navodaya in Mayannur, South Kondazhy. The college has various programmes for the undergraduates and the programmes are offered in arts, commerce, and science faculties. The college has currently 219 students and faculty team comprises 13 members that is relatively good student-teacher ratio allowing to provide individual focus and effective education.

The Lakshmi Narayana Arts and Science College has developed various amenities that are supposed to improve the entire learning process of the learners. A well inclusive library is functional to the students as it consists of different types of academic material. The technological aspect and development is well articulated in the excellent IT laboratory and teaching resources in the college, which promote modern teaching approaches as well as in preparing the students for technological world. For those having interest in sports and physical exercise, the college has service able to nurture the academic side and the physical side of the students. The existence of an auditorium enables the congregation of seminars cultural shows and other academic activities hence a lively student affairs. On the other hand there is a cafeteria that supplies foods to the students and the staffs of the college; where as health centre with first aid facilities is the medical supporter of the college community. The college also has other transport facilities in order to enable the learners and the staff to commute easily.

Out of the 8 courses offered at Lakshmi Narayana Arts and Science College, all the course offered are undergraduate full time programmes. A brief description of the course structure is as follows; Arts (BA English and BA Economics), Commerce (B.Com Finance and B.Com Computer Applications), Science (B.Sc Mathematics and B.Sc Computer Science) and Management (BBA).
