Lala Mangat Ram Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 2000. This college is located on Delhi Meerut Road, in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The college specialises in Commerce and Teacher Education. The college stands approved from the National Council for Teacher Education and has a compact campus on a land area of 1.39 acres. The co-ed institute offers 2 degree programmes in education with a total enrolment of 130 students and a faculty strength of 8. The institute follows a focus-based approach to teachers' training, offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the discipline. 

At the college, a wide range of facilities has been provided to complement the learning experience of the students. The abundant library aids to students and faculty with over 6,000 books containing the latest information in teacher education. Laboratories have been maintained by the institution in modern setups for practical knowledge, including Psychology, Technology, Science, and Home Science labs. Roomy grounds, separate common rooms for boys and girls are also available for physical activities and recreations. The institute makes available medical facilities through a qualified doctor at the sister institute, RKGIT. Other facilities in Lala Mangat Ram Mahavidyalaya  include an auditorium for events and seminars, a canteen for refreshments, and both boys' and girls' hostel facilities for students who come from out-of-town. 

Lala Mangat Ram Mahavidyalaya runs two full-time courses in the field of education. The college has B.Ed program and also conducts the M.Ed program. Both the courses are of 2-year long duration. The institute offers only teacher education, and it has only these 2 programmes, which are the foremost and central programmes of the institute. 

The admission process at Lala Mangat Ram Mahavidyalaya is merit-based, considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Admission to the B.Ed. is conducted as per the state government/UT administration and university policy. In the same way, the selection to the M.Ed. programme is adhered to as per the guidelines laid by the state government, university, or UT administration.
