Laxmi college of optometry was started in the year 1999 located at New Panvel Maharashtra. This affiliated college aims at providing education in optometry and hence provides the relevant curriculum to those who wish to be optometrists. The total number of students enrolled is 32 while the faculty numbers 14; thus, we have a better student-educator ratio, which fosters more learning. 

It only has one course called the B.Sc. Optometry which is a full time and takes 4 academic years to complete. Laxmi College of Optometry is a coeducational institution, therefore students of different gender can enroll and the College offers the atmosphere of tolerance. For this reason, the college has employed different facilities that would complement the learning activities of the students. A library in a college stock books and journals of national and international standards to enhance the students knowledge on optometry. Facilities: The laboratory contains the appropriate equipments and organism preparations for practical practices among students. The college also has modern equipped professional computer units and working places for carrying out digital learning. To cater the all round growth of students the institute has provided the facilities of sports and auditorium for events and seminars. A cafeteria and a health center inclusive of first aid facilities fulfills the rest and need of the college community. This is an Affiliated College of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.

Laxmi College of Optometry encompasses only one course of B.Sc. Optometry consisting on creating professional optometrists. This is a full time course that is core to the entire institute and covers an intake of 32 students per academic year. programme, and a wide range of competencies that will serve as the basis for subsequent hours of the programme is designed as follows: 

Laxmi College of Optometry has put in place admission process to choose spirited candidates for its B.Sc. Optometry programme.
