Laxmi Teacher’s Training Mahila College at Bharatpur was established in 2006 as a women’s college for teacher training, education. Named after a famous personality this affiliated college is situated at Malipura Shergarh, Hindon Road, Bayana, Bharatpur, Rajasthan which has been acknowledged for its educational future pillar. The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to follow the guidelines set by the government in the education of teachers. That is why the number of students is rather small: 198 first-year and second-year students and 16 members of faculty as, being small, we provide our students with a good student-teacher ratio and a comfortable environment for study.

Laxmi Teacher’s Training Mahila College boasts of a number of amenities that aim at improving the achievement of the learners. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is the main course that shapes the foundational education of Laxmi Teacher’s Training Mahila College. These comprise a vast full-time two year course with an approved capacity to recruit one hundred students every year to train the college’s targeted number of future teachers per annum. B.Ed programme aims at producing professional competent teachers with teaching skills, theoretic knowledge and demonstration ability.

For entrance into the B.Ed programme of Laxmi Teacher’s Training Mahila College the admission is offered on merit basis. Candidates for enrolment are assessed using their performance in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance test. It also reserves any other form of selection as may be provided by the state government, Union Territory administration and the affiliated University.
