Longowal Polytechnic College, Dera Bassi was set up in 1986 and is one of the leading technical colleges in the Punjab, India . The affiliated college is 20km from the city, it is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), therefore offering quality engineering education. It occupies a tightly knit site of 2 acres and cater to 813 students who form the enrolment of the college.
