LT Raja Virendra Bahadur Singh Government College, Saraipali, was founded in the year 1972 as an affiliated college at Mahasamund district in Chhattisgarh. The college stretches over a campus of 15 acres and offers a total of 23 courses in 8 degree programmes, having a total of 1,268 enrolments. It is a co-educational institution; thus, it provides equal opportunities to both boys and girls. The college is duly accredited to NAAC, thus ensuring quality in its education.
