The Luxmi Bai Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital Patiala, was established in the year 2001 and is a leading dental college in Punjab, India. This affiliated college which is recognized by the Dental Council of India extends its multiple dental and medical laboratory courses. The student enrolment in the institute is 464 and the number of the faculties is 50 which is apt for a dental institute. The students are as follows: There are 97% undergraduate students and 3% postgraduate students.
