Maa Maturani Devi Mahavidyalaya is a Ballia college affiliated to Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, which was set up in the year of 2009 and is situated in Chandadih, Belthara Road, Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. This institute, spread over a 2.69-acre campus, offers two degree programmes and has a total strength of 638 students. The college is UGC recognised and accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which guarantees the quality of education in training for teachers. It is staffed with 11 faculty members who ensure that the student-teacher ratio is kept low to ensure a more effective learning environment. Since raw ranking information is lacking, the college aims to deliver the hoped-for education in the programmes that it conducts. 

Maa Maturani Devi Mahavidyalaya, located in Chandadih, Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, is an institute affiliated with Jananayak Chandrashekhar University, Ballia, Jaunpur.  I am delighted to show the students and visitors the variety of facilities the institute provides to enable effective learning. Maa Maturani Devi Mahavidyalaya also has standard scientific laboratories with standard equipment procured and upgraded periodically to meet Indian as well as international standards. For technology-driven learning, the institute facilitates good Information Technology resources. There are campuses to support the physical health of the students; additionally, an equipped gym for sportspeople. The college also consists of an auditorium and a well-maintained and administered conference hall for holding seminars, presentations and other academic activities. A canteen facility is provided to meet the food requirements of staff and students, and a health centre with first aid facilities is also provided to meet the medical requirements of students. 

Maa Maturani Devi Mahavidyalaya offers two courses: The regular course is a BA, which is a three-year course, and another is a diploma course known as D.El.Ed, which is a two-year programme. The D.El.Ed programme in the college is provisioned for 50 admissions while the number of admissions. These courses are in line with the learners who wish to study arts at a higher level and those who wish to become elementary school teachers. The sanctioned strength or the student intake capacity for the institute is as low as 638 students, which shows that the institute ensures education to a large number of students in the region. 

The admission procedure at Maa Maturani Devi Mahavidyalaya differs from one course to another. Candidates are selected strictly on merit, aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying and or entrance examination for the D.El.Ed programme. The admission policy of the college is established by the state government or the UT administration. The institute has been established to cater for the educational needs of the aspiring students of Ballia and nearby areas by producing skilled professionals and teachers for the development of this area.
