Madha College of Nursing, Chennai, was started in 1998 to impart education in the field of nursingMobile No. 9333880228 The college is well reputed and is one of the leading institutes for catering nursing education. This affiliated college is situated in Kunrathur, Chennai, and is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) that makes the college uniquely authoritative to offer quality education in nursing. Nursing programmes include Associate Degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees, all of which are intended for 380 enroled students across 33 acres of the campus. Currently with a faculty strength of 50 members, Madha College of Nursing offers a student friendly environment with proper care & individual attention to each student. 

Madha College of Nursing also have up to date facilities within the college to ensure the student’s needs and requirements are well catered for in the course of their education. The modern equipped library acts as an information centre with collection of literature and research documents for nursing. Modern clinical establishments help to get an effectual feel for practical abilities in nursing that is highly important. A well-equipped gym is available and a health centre provides first aid to students of the college. For the disabled, there are accommodation facilities for boys and girls separately in the school compound for students who would want to stay within the compound. 

Established in the year 1995, Madha College of Nursing provides all sort of nursing education from under graduate up to post graduate from Kerala. The college offers seven full courses in the field although these courses offer different specialisations within the nursing profession. The overall student enrolment in all courses stands at 160, keeping with the institute policy of affordability, coupled with the need to ensure quality by controlling the size of the classes. Our flagship course, B.Sc Nursing, has the maximum number of seats at 100 while the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing has the next best 30 seats. At post graduate level, the college has specific M.Sc programmes which include Medical Surgical Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Community Health Nursing but with restricted intake capacity in each so that students can be guided and made experts in their respective fields.

The admission procedures at Madha College of Nursing is made in a way that the college get the best and most promising nursing students. A detailed flow chart of admission procedures as per course is missing but apparently the admission Committee may consider the CGPA along with the marks scored in certain subjects, entrance examination and may include interview or aptitude test as well.
