Madhu College of Education was established in the year 2003 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It is a premier teacher education institution offering specialised co-educational courses, affiliated with the local university, to prepare students for effective teaching careers. The Madhu College of Education has an enrolment of 200 students in the two-year B.Ed programme, supported by 16 faculty members, providing the effective student-teacher ratio that is so appropriate for the young future educator.

Admissions to the B.Ed. course are made through AP Ed.CET, a state-level entrance examination. This is done through this test in order to judge the preparedness and understand the student in the field of education. DEECET is used in the case of the D.El.Ed. course.
