About MSSW Chennai

The 1952-founded Madras School of Social Work is an autonomous institution that is connected with the University of Madras and located in Chennai, South India. Mary Clubwala Jadhav established the Madras School of Social Work under the aegis of the Guild of Service (central) and the Madras State Branch of the Indian Conference of Social Work (later renamed the Indian Council of Social Welfare). MSSW Chennai scholarships are given to merit students to pursue higher studies. The Society for Social Education and Research (SSER) is in charge of overseeing the operation of the institution. In the NIRF 2023 rating, Madras School of Social Work in Chennai came in at number nine. MSSW Chennai scholarships are provided to merit students to pursue higher studies at the college. MSSW Chennai courses are offered in different branches of study, such as Diploma, B.Sc.., B.S.W., M.S.W.., M.Sc., M.A.., M.Phil., Ph.D., and others. The school is ranked first in South India and third overall in India for social work colleges. The college is smaller in comparison to other colleges so it doesn't provide with infrastructure you would expect, but it is well maintained and kept clean. The library is pretty good and provides you with all the books you would require.
