    Mahabir College of Nursing, Ambala, came into existence in the year 2004 as one of the prime institutions of nursing education in Haryana, India. Most importantly, Mahabir College of Nursing creates the proper learning atmosphere for aims healthcare manpower all over the region. The total student enrolment is 167, with faculty of 27.

    It has an infrastructure that is impressive and helps to heighten the educational experience among students. The existence of well-equipped laboratories is part of the campus necessary for practical training on the nursing course. The library, well-stocked and spread across an area of at least 400 square meters on four floors, has an impressive collection of more than 6,120 books, 294 CDs, and subscription to 16 national and international print journals and access to 3000+ e-journals. Supported by modern IT infrastructure with 10 computers and peripheral devices, the resource centre is a well-stocked one that provides the latest digital resources to the students. The Mahabir College of Nursing takes care that both male and female students get hostel accommodations with well-ventilated rooms and security provisions are made. The institute further extends facilities for a cafeteria, gymnasium, guest house, and on-campus facilities of Axis Bank ATM.

    The Mahabir College of Nursing offers a number of full-time nursing courses. These include a 2-year Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery course, 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery course, 4-year B. Sc. Nursing, 2-year M. Sc. in Nursing, and a 2-year Post Basic B. Sc. in Nursing. These programmes address the interests and career needs of an array of categories, starting from students with mere primary qualification to high-end specialisations in the nursing profession.
