About Mahakal Institute of Pharmaceutical Studies, Ujjain
Mahakal Institute of Pharmaceutical Studies Ujjain (MIPS Ujjain) was established in 2002 by Prasar Shikshan Evam Seva Sansthan and is part of the MIT Group of Institutes, Ujjain. The MIPS Ujjain is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The MIPS Ujjain is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal.
The list of MIPS Ujjain courses includes D.Pharm, B.Pharm and M.Pharm (with various specialisations). Aspiring candidates must make sure to meet MIPS Ujjain eligibility criteria before applying to the institute. MIPS Ujjain admissions for B.Pharm are offered through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). While GPAT-qualified candidates will be given preference, other Mahakal Institute of Pharmaceutical Studies are conducted based on the applicants' most recent qualifying merit.
Smart classrooms with AV equipment, a library, labs and workshops, a hostel for boys and girls, a cafeteria, a health centre, an auditorium, a playground and a transportation facility are among the facilities offered by MIPS Ujjain. The B.Pharm course has been planned for a total of 100 seats, which require a candidate to have studied 10+2 with PCB/PCM and obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). M.Pharm course has a total of 25 seats (in the Pharmaceutics and Pharmacognosy specializations) and a valid B.Pharm degree is a must for eligibility.
