Maharaja Agrasen College of Engineering and Technology, Moradabad, was established in the year 2009. This affiliated college is located at Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, spread over 11.2 acres. MACET offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across different disciplines such as Engineering and Pharmacy. This institute has been approved by AICTE and PCI to ensure high-quality education in technical fields. Having a total student intake of 161 and a faculty strength of 63, MACET provides a very conducive learning atmosphere with a very favorable student-to-faculty ratio. The college offers 8 courses across 2 degree levels, having varied specializations in the fields of engineering and pharmacy.

Separate boys' and girls' hostels are available within the campus premises of the college. These are tastefully designed hostels, with furnished and spacious rooms that offer air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned accommodation. Each room is properly fitted with all basic amenities like beds, study tables, storage spaces, etc. Security in the hostels is assured through the deployment of security agencies who are of high standing and work on a 24-hour basis for student protection. 

The courses offered by the institute are based on various interests and different types of career aspirations as well. MACET offers 8 full-time courses, in both undergraduate and diploma programs. The B.Tech programs are in the departments of Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. It offers Diploma courses in Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering for students who would like to take up a diploma course in these respective streams. The institution also offers D.Pharma for those students who wish to study pharmaceuticals. Thus, the sanctioned intake for all its courses put together is 420—sufficient in number to accommodate students with potential.

The admission procedure for students in the college is quite transparent and hassle-free. It is understood that the performance of the candidate in the national or state-level entrance examinations would be taken into consideration in many such engineering colleges in granting admission in B.Tech. In the other diploma courses and D.Pharma admissions, it is based on the 10+2 or equivalent examination results.
