Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research Pune is a prominent medical college established in 1995. The college campus is located at a large area of 43.15 acres of land providing quality education and medical services. It is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Nashik and recognised by National Medical Commission.
Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research courses are offered at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The courses offered by the college are MBBS, MD and MS. The admission for PG courses are done through merit lists generated by NEET PG through cutoff and the academic marks. On the other hand, the NEET UG is required for the MBBS course.
The selection of the students in the MIMER Pune are done on the basis of the marks scored in the NEET exam. They are required to clear the Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research cut-off to be eligible for admissions in it. The college also offers various facilities for the students. The campus is really humongous and well equipped with all the necessary facilities. It is very spacious and well maintained. There's a ground for football and cricket, there's a basketball court available near boys hostel for everyone. There's also a recreation room along with gym in the hostel.
