The college of commerce under the MMG group was set up in 2005; it is reckoned as one of the premier learning institutes located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Located on NH4 Sion Panvel Express Highway in Kamothe Sector 1, this affiliated college has been holding the baton of commerce education for almost two decades now. With a total strength of 166 students and a faculty of 4 teachers, the college provides a niche for its students. At present, there is only one course being offered here, known as BMS, wherein only 60 seats are available, which are especially intended for the students who want to have a career in management and commerce.

Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s College of Commerce possesses quite an impressive list of facilities that provide quite a stimulating learning environment to the learners. The fully air-conditioned computerised laboratory with 50 computer systems coupled with a free 24-hour internet connection prepares students for online access with world updates. The library accommodates thousands of books with 7920 books, 50 e-books, and the journal and magazines are important resources for students and faculty members. The college has provided indoor sports facilities for co-curricular activities such as table tennis, carom, volleyball, badminton, etc. The air-conditioned hall with an LCD projector and a communal sound system is where, as business interviews, presentations, and meetings take place, the company prepares students for professional activity. 

The Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) is the only full-time programme offered by Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s College of Commerce at the present time. This is a three-year programme, and it is accredited to accept 60 students only as a way of maintaining the college’s student-to-faculty ratio with a view of offering the students personal attention. Although the total intake capacity of students is 166, the current total enrolment is also 166, hence the popularity of the college among commerce and management qualification-seeking students of the region.

The admission process adopted at Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s College of Commerce is made very competitive and as fair as possible. For the assessment of the BMS programme in the college, there may be an emphasis on academic accomplishment in the 10+2 or par equivalent examinations followed by commerce stream or similar area. Affiliated to a parent university, it also may adhere to mandatory admission procedures as set by a parent university.
