Mahatma Phule College of Social Work was set up in the year 1980. Established at Taloda, Dhule district, is a beacon of social work education in the Maharashtra region. Since its inception in 1980, this affiliated college has been directing the youth of the region into the realm of social work for over four decades. Spread over a compact area of approximately 4.2 acres, two specialised courses in social work are provided to a total of 161 students. The institution is affiliated with NMU Jalgaon. The college has a committed faculty of 8 members, hence giving personal attention and quality education in its pursuit of creating capable social work practitioners. 

Mahatma Phule College of Social Work has a well-stocked library that provides students with access to a wealth of literature in social work and related fields. The college provides facilities for sports and a gymnasium, which ensures that physical fitness goes hand in hand with mental acuity.
