Affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R.Mahiya College of Education, Kalipatti was started in the year 2005 at Namakkal of Tamil Nadu. This co-educational institution is located at Salem-Tiruchengode Highway, affiliated to the Thiruvallar Medical University and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education NCTE) &National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college occupies one-ninety-seven acres of the area and it has only one program of study with a total enrolment of two hundred and ninety-eight. The faculty strength is just 10 which keeps the liability on the teacher education but gives a specific nature to the institute for the learners.

This learning institution has a myriad of facilities that are aimed at improving the education of the students of the said college. This academic essential contains approximately 6,011 books and 265 education CDs, in addition to national and international journals. It also avails DELNET facility through which the students of the Ahemdabad can access the books & other material from any library of the country. Here at Mahendhira College of Education, we offer only one course and that is the Bachelor of Education (B.ED). This course covers two years and the institution accepting hundred students for this course.
