Maheshwara Medical College and Hospital, Patancheru, was started in the year 2016, which is located at Medak District of Telangana. As a member institution of this University, it has been accredited by the National medical commission –NMC and it provides a wide of medical programs at bachelors, masters and doctorate levels. Located in a 90 acre campus, the institute is a blend of 300 total students and 140 teaching and non-teaching faculty members. Being a co-intension institution for both males and females, it supports every male and female student within the various specializations in medicine.

The college is well endowed with modern infrastructure to meet most of the needs of students in their academic and other activities. There are two different hostels one person for boys and another one for girls to facilitate comfortable stay for out-station students. Other facility is that it has mounted Wi-Fi thus giving student chance to use any kind of Internet resources. A library with rich stock is a storehouse of information; hence students get to find almost all sort of medical literature and research articles in them. There is also a highly developed service of IT in the college which enables such processes as up-to-date learning and other processes and the students in particular will learn more of the technological changes in the medical fraternity. However, the health center with first aid on campus addresses needs of the students and the staff in case of an illness.

Currently Maheshwara Medical College and Hospital has 3 degree programs and a total of 15 courses all of which are full time.

The MMC & H has a merit list for admission in most of the courses offered by the College & Hospital. For the MBBS program, there are counseling on the basis of aspirant’s rank in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
