Mahishadal Raj College was established in the year 1946 and is one of the promising institutions in Purba Medinipur, West Bengal. Affiliated to the Vidyasagar University, the college offers a multitude of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in diverse streams. The college, spread over a campus of 2.89 acres, has received NAAC accreditation. The college provides education to a total of 5,139 students with 69 faculties in general. The college imparts education in 56 courses with 13 degrees, mainly consisting of arts, science, and commerce together with vocational studies.

(Honours) in Accountancy. The college also offers innovative courses such as B.Voc. in Automobile, Health Care, and Hospitality Management. At the postgraduate level, students can pursue M.A., M.Sc., and M.Com. in various specializations.
