Admission to MPES is mainly on merit; therefore, it relies on entrance examination scores. In the case of B.Tech programmes, the basis for admission is the rank obtained in AP EAMCET. In the case of B. Pharma, too, admission is made on the basis of either the AP EAMCET rank or a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying 10+2 examination. In the case of a diploma course, the institute follows the Common Entrance Examination for Polytechnics conducted by SBTET AP, Hyderabad.
