As an affiliated college, Malla Reddy Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in the year 2005 and is located in Medchal, Telangana. This council approval includes those from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and the institute is situated on 6 acres of land; it provides a set of pharmaceutical programmes. It offers a student teacher ratio with 640 students for the total enrolment and 44 faculty members at the institute. The college provides 5 courses at 3 degree levels and focuses on different aspects of pharmaceutical sciences. Located in Maisammaguda, Dhulapally near Secunderabad, it is easy for student from other parts of the region to access the training.

The courses offered at Malla Reddy Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences include full range of courses in the field of pharmacy. There are also 5 full time courses being offered in the institute, that is undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. At the undergraduate level, the college offers 4 year B.Pharma course with an intake of 50 students per year. At postgraduate level, the institute provides M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics, and Phrama eutical Analysis, both of 2years duration. In addition, 6-year Pharm.D and 3-year Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate course are also offered in college. 

Admission procedure in Malla Reddy Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences differs according to the course. For B.Pharma programme, the admission is through the ranks obtained in Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) entrance exam.
