B.Sc Health Information Management at Manipal Tata Medical College, Jamshedpur Offline Course

B.Sc. Health Information Management graduate program is designed to equip students to take up independent middle level managerial positions, interacting with all levels of healthcare organization; in management, use and interpretation of all patient and health data for decision making and everyday operations; and also for managing basic level health research activities.

This program also has a provision of semester aboard option of two semesters for all those who qualify and opt for it, to choose to do their 7th and 8th semester at Indiana University Purdue University (IUPUI), Indianapolis, USA; and an opportunity to write the AHIMA RHIT certification.

This program has a provision for BSc. M.S Integrated program in collaboration with School of Informatics and Computing, Indiana University - Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI).

Focus

The intensive training and industry based curriculum enable the students to conceptualize, organize, analyse and manage the content, integrity, accessibility, use, and protection of information resources in compliance with national and regional standards to improve health care delivery process and outcome.
