Mannaniya College of Arts and Science was started in the year 1995 and it is an affiliated college situated at Kallara, Pangode, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The institution is located on a 16-acres’ land and it provides a wide list of undergraduate and post graduate study programmes. Recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), total student enrolment is 562, faculty 21. Mannaniya College offers six courses in four programmes with fields of Commerce, Tourism, Chemistry, Islamic History, Economics and Media Studies. An administration of a college should ensure quality and this has been seen through the college’s programmes and well-equipped facilities.

Mannaniya College of Arts and Science offers a range of tools aimed at improving the quality of the executed education in the framework of a college. Spacious well equipped gym in the main building is equipped with such equipments as ten stations multi-gym, abdominal fox smith machine etc. The library for the college is located in a huge hall of 2200 sq. feet and has rich information reserves of over 10100 books In addition to this, 25 general magazines, 20 journals and 11 daily newspapers are available in the library. Students also get the great advantage of e-books and e-journals subscribed from INFLIBNET’s NLIST for free. The following are sporting activities: cricket, football, badminton, athletics, softball and others like carrom, chess and table tennis. The college boasts of an IT sector accommodation of a computer centre equipped with 30 computer systems that are connected to both the network and Internet thus enhancing the college technology based education.

Mannaniya College of Arts and Science comprises of six courses, and all the courses are full time. The course offerings include four undergraduate programmes. There are B.Com in Cooperation, B.Com in Tourism and Travel Management, B.Sc in Chemistry and BA in Islamic History. In addition, the college provides one postgraduate programmes, Master of Commerce in Finance.
